[Luceti] 1st Shuffle [Accidental voice/video]
[The sound of paper rippled violently in the air was combined with the hollow thuds of something light and small impacting against wood, the image on the camera violently being thrown around at random angles before it landed facing upwards towards the sky. Strands of grass loomed over the view of a tall tree, the camera looking upwards into its branches, as the sound of a voice was close by. A very annoyed and pained voice.
Quickly following behind the journal was the sound of something much larger and heavily falling from the tree branches, hitting quite a few as it dropped. This was the source of the voice, which was now letting out a constant string of curse words in French and grunts of pain. The figure managed to grab hold of one or two limbs during its decent, but was unable to stop the fall, as it finally landed heavily next to the open journal.
At first there was no movement from the person, the only motion visible from that of wind’s moment of the plant life. A groan and the appearance of an arm that partially covered the camera proved the man was still alive, along with a mumble.]
“Merde… Remy, no more drinkin’.”
----
[Having been walking for awhile since his sudden decent into Luceti, the forest was clearing to reveal the town which... god, he was stuck in another hick town. And he thought Bayville was bad. He may as well try the bar Rogue talked about, maybe be able to scam a drink or two out of someone since he had no money on him. The trek through town was interesting, it gave him a starting picture of what the the area looked like. Remy hadn't even begun to figure out what he was going to do when night came, without a place to sleep or money to support himself. He would wing it, see what happened, as normal.]
[Avoiding to elude too much attention from others, or get into a conversation with someone he didn't know, Remy eventually sauntered his way up into the bar, pushing that half hour limit Rogue had originally given him. He was looking a little worse for wear but not showing that it bothered him. He would need to grab something to clean up the scratches, didn't want anything getting infected. Ha! The last thing he needed. Abducted by alien mad scientists. Losing a chunk of memory. And in the middle of who the hell knows where with no one he trusted. Great times.]

Flipping the pages, she is most surprised to hear the familiar voice, and stops, craning her neck as if that will somehow afford her a better view.]
... Gambit?
Re: [Video]
Slowly moving to make sure he hadn’t broken anything on the way down, Remy slapped a hand over his face, scrubbing his palm over it with a groan. His face came into view of the video as he propped himself up on his elbow, grudgingly moving to sit upright. Everything hurt, not surprising since he felt like he hit every branch on the way down, and was branded with a few bloody scrapes and scratches that the bark had left on him.
The voice of a woman calling his name made him look up and around at his surroundings, but he found only forest looking back at him. Maybe he was hearing things, but just in case he wasn’t and this person had some answers on how the hell he got here, he answered.]
Hello?
[Sure, he had lost time before thanks to drinking, but he hadn’t ended up in a tree before! This was a new one, and one he didn’t want to repeat any time soon.]
Hello.
[She answers back, like the well trained girl she is. ]
Re: [Video]
Where the merde be ya?
[No one was around him, bar whatever wildlife he woke up with his sudden drop onto the scene. It may not be the nicest way to start a conversation up with femme, but in his mind, he deserved some slack considering what had just happened]

voice ; hope you don't mind prose!
Ororo's voice was hesitant over the journal. She hadn't seen hide nor hair of Gambit in a while, because of a variety of circumstances. They hadn't been exactlyfriends, but they were friendly on occasion. Now she realized that she should have made more of an effort to check up on him, made sure he was alright.
Still, she had to frown at what she managed to make out of his mumble. "What happened? Are you alright?"
Re: voice ; not at all, but will keep to mine so not to confuse my brain
Storm.
[He hadn’t made any ripples along the X-Men’s path since he ‘borrowed’ Rogue to help out back home, leaving them to save the world. It’s what they did best after all.]
Bonjour. So the X-Men be at this, [What was the place name again?] Luceti place as well?
voice ; oh! brackets work fine too s'all good!
She answers carefully, peering down at the camera curiously. ]
... Yes, yes we are. It isn't a problem, I hope. [ She lifts one eyebrow at him. ]

Now, chere, think ya can lend a hand ‘nd direct me to people. Rather not keep the squirrels ‘nd raccoons company too much longer, hein?

Regardless, Kurt is at the local coffee house with the journal open on the counter when he notices the message. He peers in. His image inducer is on at the moment, so he's looking his humanest.]
...Gambit? Is that you?
Re: [Video]
Remy cocked an eyebrow up as he quizzed Kurt.] Ain't ya normally fuzzy?
Great, someone hinting at his true form over the journals. But he tries to joke it off.]
Would you believe that I shave?
Re: [Video]
How many of ya X-Geek are actually here? [First Storm, now Nightcrawler. Eh, at least they were more sane than Scarletwitch.]

But even now as she did her daily strolling through the journals, she recognized that voice. And she didn't need to recognize more, after all, because he'd said his name. He was back. And it was easy to see from his conversations that... he didn't remember. She hoped she was wrong. She really, really hoped she was wrong.]
Got a feelin' that ain't gonna be a resolution you'll keep. [She tried to keep her voice light.] There's not enough booze in the world to buy your entrance to a place like this.

Bonjour cherie, how ya been?

You wouldn't believe me even if I told ya. [And she had no intention of doing that.] Let me guess -- you have no idea where you are.
[She desperately hoped she was wrong with a fierceness of emotion she hadn't expected.]

[So, the cajun rat is back again. This will be interesting, he figures. He'll be wanting to make sure he catches Gambit's scent. Just in case he needs to skin the bastard.]

Aw, cher, ya ain't nearly as pretty as the others I got to talk to so far.
[Stupid to taunt the older mutant? Sure, but it was damn fun, and for now Wolvie could reach him through a book, so may as well make the most of it.]

[The deck of cards Rogue had supplied him has somehow vanished to someplace on his person, leaving only the ever present journal in his hand. Flicking through it to the page Rogue had presented to him, Remy's eyes quickly skimmed over the content, trying to find a map of the village. It only took a few moments to locate it, and holding the book out flat, he raised a finger of the other hand up to hover over the page before closing his eyes. Hell, he didn't know the place or terrain well enough to make an educated guess at the best place to settle into, so he would leave it down to luck. Spinning his finger in mid air, Remy suddenly dropped it down against the page.]
[Peeking an eye open to see where it landed, he let out a,] Huh. [ Before snapping the book closed again and heading off down the curved southern paths. The area didn't feel like a prison, considering it had its share of bars, art galleries, and a selection of stores, but the lingering itch at the back of his neck that he couldn't leave at his own free will took any real enjoyment out of his exploration.]
[Stopping in front of the build he had chosen at random, Remy eyed the upper floors. He would rather stay off the ground floor as he always felt better at a height, but not too high that he couldn't get back down to earth safely if he needed to. However, he had wings now, who knew what he could do with them. Once inside the building and at a suitable floor, he glanced between his apartment options. Shrugging a shoulder and once again leaving it down to dumb luck, Remy grabbed hold of a doorknob and twisted.]
Bonjour, anyone home? [Hopefully not.]
[Action]
Very surprised at someone just walking in, she looks over at Remy's call, somehow knowing who it's going to be even before her eyes get there. ]
... Yes. ... Hello.
Re: [Action]
Ah... wrong apartment.
[Turn around and leave Remy, it would be the smartest thing to do. The girl was dangerous and unhinged... but she would be a great asset and good ally to have in this world. After all, she was loyal to daddy, maybe having some link through the Acolytes meant she wouldn't take an instant dislike to him. Hell, she actually tried to help him when he was in the forest.]
[Hiding the sigh he really wanted to let loose, Remy raised a hand to scratch at the back of his head and offered a smile to her.]
Was lookin' for a place to stay, didn't realize this one be taken.
