Count on it. [She grinned at him. A good challenge, and certainly easy on the eyes; yep. This little weekly get together of theirs was not at all something she minded. ] Unless, of course, I'm swept off my feet in a whirlwind romance this Saturday. But. I don't see that happening.

Ya findin' yaself a beau? [Maybe not a bad idea, the girl was so down about Scott leaving, may as well have some fun instead of wallowing on what could had been.]

Could be, could be. [She was indeed still depressed about Scott, but she was trying her hardest not to let on, and to not let it get to her. She would be disappointed to know she was so transparent, to Remy if no one else.] I'm going to that speed dating thing Billy and Teddy are putting on. Never know who you'll meet at something like that!

[Don't worry Jean, you hid it well. Remy had the advantage of timelines over all from their world, and knowing how difficult it was to get over someone.]

To poke holes in ya theory, ya do know who ya'll meet, kinda limited to who be stuck under this dome. Mais, good luck to ya, sure there be a few gems 'mong the coal.

There are plenty of people here that I haven't met, yet. And as you say, at least some of them have to be good people. Of course-- your presence here hardly bolsters that theory. [Just a bit of playful ribbing, complete with smile to show she's just teasing.] You're not going to sign up, then, it sounds like?

[Jean gives Remy a look. "Interesting people," Remy? As if she's unaware of his proclivities. She rolls her eyes, amused.] Too afraid to step out of your comfort zone, then?

Never, but if I do, prefer it be into a zone that be fun, not dull. [Clearly not a high opinion of speed dating with this one. It sounded pathetic, it sounded desperate.]

Ya really goin' to look for a homme? [Sorry Jean, but Remy didn't believe it, not after their talk a month or so back.]

I'm going to meet some new people. I thought it sounded fun. There are enough people who are too shy to get to know people without some sort of construct to support it. Besides, if everyone there is a shy, awkward mess, what's to encourage them to get out and meet new people on their own? There have to be some people there who aren't afraid, to support the others. [Clearly, Jean has a high opinion of herself. Also: Avoiding the question for 200, please, Alex!]

I guess. Luckily, I never been one of those. [Shifting to lie down on the bleacher he sad on, Remy crossed one ankle over the other and linked his hands behind his head as a pillow.] Funnily 'nough.

Nope. Cookies and sunshine and socially awkward teenagers. [She chuckles.] ... How did you trick me into arguing against your coming?

'Oui'. We should go dancing more often, anyway. I'm not sure what my plan's will be like, after the event, but if you want to make plans for dancing, I'm down for that.

Ah, well I wish ya luck for not bein' able to meet up with me 'fter the event.

[Sitting himself up, Remy stood and moved down the bleachers to grab his shirt.] Guess it all be a good idea, not sure I call it normal since never done something like this m'self, but good idea.

[He still didn't expect it to help out how Remy wanted it to, one night stands were a little difficult when you were stuck in the same location.]

No offence, but since whenhas "normal" been your base line of operations? [She remained leaning back on her elbows, watching him.]

Ah, but 'normal' all be down to the individual, non? So normal for moi be totally different for ya. 'nd sure most here wouldn't call runnin' 'round in skin tight uniforms, fightin' evil mutants 'nd savin' Bayville normal, would they?

Not at that micro-level of specificity, no. Not many of us are from Bayville, so that alone rules out normalcy for most. [Mmmm. Nitpicking.] Besides which, I don't like to think of my opponents as "Evil". Remy. [She arches an eyebrow at him. After all, from her point in time, they are definitely on opposite sides. ]
